Three Jamaican hotels have been ranked among the Top 10 in the US and Caribbean by Condé Nast Traveler’s 2025 Readers’ Choice Awards, reaffirming Jamaica’s position among the world’s most admired destinations for luxury, creativity, and culture.

The Jamaica Inn in Ocho Rios claimed the #4 spot, while S Hotel Montego Bay followed closely at #5.

Making its debut appearance, S Hotel Kingston joined the ranks at 7th, marking a breakthrough moment for Jamaica’s capital city and its evolution into a modern hub for both business and leisure travellers.

The Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards are among the most prestigious in global travel, determined by the votes of hundreds of thousands of readers who rate their favourite destinations, hotels, resorts, and experiences worldwide.

Now in its 37th year, the survey is often described as the industry’s “gold standard,” spotlighting properties that consistently deliver excellence in service, design, and authenticity.

For Jamaica Inn, this latest accolade continues a legacy of distinction.

The property, which last appeared on the Condé Nast Traveler list in 2023, remains one of the Caribbean’s most beloved boutique hotels.

Managing Director Kyle Mais said the recognition reflects the heart and soul of the team behind the landmark Ocho Rios resort.

“We are absolutely delighted to be recognised once again by Condé Nast Traveler’s Readers’ Choice Awards which once again reflects the extraordinary dedication of the people who make Jamaica Inn what it is.”

For S Hotel Jamaica, the recognition marks another milestone in a story of innovation and national pride.

S Hotel Montego Bay, the brand’s flagship property, has been named among the Top 10 every year since opening in 2019, while S Hotel Kingston earned its first appearance, signalling Jamaica’s emergence as a destination where art, design, and culture meet hospitality at the highest level.

CEO Christopher Issa said the dual win represents both continuity and evolution for the brand.

“We are very happy that S Montego Bay was once again in the Top 10, a special achievement since we have been in the Top 10 every year since we opened in 2019, but we are very excited to see S Kingston also in the Top 10 for the very first time. This we see as part of Kingston’s re-emergence as a tourist destination and it being the culture capital of the Caribbean.

“It’s incredibly rewarding to see travellers embracing the capital for its art, music, gastronomy, and creativity, and recognising that luxury in Jamaica is not just by the sea, it’s also in the city.”

The Condé Nast Traveler honours follow closely on the heels of last weekend’s World Travel Awards Caribbean Gala in St Lucia, where S Hotel Jamaica took home two major regional titles.

Overall, Jamaica and its tourism partners captured an impressive 45 awards, underscoring the island’s leadership and consistency on the global stage.

Together, these accolades highlight the strength of Jamaica’s hospitality sector—where heritage, artistry, and innovation continue to define the island’s appeal and inspire a new generation of travellers to experience “the heartbeat of the Caribbean.”
