Man found dead following house fire in Spanish Town

The body of a man was found following a fire at his house on Burke Road in Spanish Town, St Catherine on Thursday.
The deceased was identified by the police as Moses McIntosh.
Reports are that about 2:50 a.m., the fire department was summoned to a blaze at a house along Burke Road.
After the fire was extinguished, the body of a man was discovered during cooling down operations.
The police's Scenes of Crime Unit examined the scene, and the body was removed.
A post-mortem is to be done.
The cause of the fire has not been ascertained.
The Spanish Town police are investigating the matter.
