Stolen goats recovered by police in Hayes, Clarendon

Twenty-three stolen goats were recovered by the police in Hayes, Clarendon yesterday.
Reports are that about 5:30 p.m., a police team signalled the driver of a Toyota Caldina motor car to stop. He obeyed but made his escape into a nearby community.
A second occupant of the motor vehicle was arrested and charged in connection with the seizure.
Charged with Larceny of Goat is 29-year-old Derron Taylor of Hollywood Road, Phase II in Hayes, Clarendon.
The police are asking the driver of the motor vehicle to turn himself into the nearest police station.
Persons who have had their goats stolen are being asked to contact the Hayes police at 986-5130 or visit the station between 8:00. a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
