There were glowing tributes today for noted journalist Lovelette Brooks.
Brooks died last Tuesday after a long battle with breast cancer.
There were tears and laughter as relatives and friends paid tribute to her during a thanksgiving service held at the Mona Baptist Church in St Andrew.
Brook’s niece Opal Bedasse remembered her as a strong woman who had an unconditional love for her only son.
Senior News Editor at The Gleaner, Arthur Hall, says Brooks was like a sister and that her passing was very painful.
