Senator Norman Grant, President of the Jamaica Agricultural Society (JAS) has welcomed the visit of United States President Barack Obama to the island.
“The JAS, it’s Board of Management, the more than 220,000 farmers in Jamaica and agriculture stakeholders express delight of the visit of the President of the United States of America Barack Obama to our beautiful island of Jamaica,” said Grant.
“The JAS expects that the visit will open additional opportunities for the Jamaican agricultural industry to grow and more opportunities of export locally grown produce to the US market,” added Grant.
