Gas prices to go up by $2.91 tomorrow as new tax takes effect
Petrojam has announced an increase of $2.91 per litre for E10 87 and E10 90 gasoline come tomorrow.
It says E10 87 will be sold for $103.94 per litre and E10 90 for $105.59 per litre.
The cost for a litre of automotive diesel oil will increase by $2.07 per litre to be sold for $99.79, while Ultra Low Sulphur Diesel will go up $3.30 per litre to be sold for $111.37.
Meanwhile, the price of kerosene will go down by $1.26 per litre, to be sold for $101.53.
Propane will sell for $36.76 per litre following a $1.49 cut while butane will move down by $1.96 to $40.28 per litre.
Petrojam says the movements take into account a drop in the US Gulf reference prices on which its prices are indexed, a stable exchange rate and the application of the $7 specific Special Consumption Tax announced by the Finance Minister last week.
