In fashion, both proud and bold, the main stage on the lawns of King’s House reflected patriotic streams of black, green and gold as diplomats, government officials and other specially invited guests gathered to celebrate on Thursday night ahead of Jamaica’s 63rd independence. Hosted by the lovely master of ceremonies, Fae Ellington, Governor General Sir Patrick Allen offered a warm welcome to his annual reception and made a toast to the nation.
