Eye shape
The shape of your eyes does matter when it comes to glamming them up. The most common of them all is almond, round, droopy and hooded.
There are three hot styles trending for the season: smokey, winged tips and cat eye.
The cat-eye make-up design is perfect for your almond-shape eyes. To accentuate an almond-shape eye and make it look larger, longer, and more seductive, keep the line thin on the inside of the eye and all the way out to two-thirds of the eye. Grow the line in thickness, and finish with a semi-dramatic wing at the end. If you are not for the bold look, use nude colours. But if you are not afraid to go bold, try light purple, pink or plum shades. They are all good for day and night events.
For the droopy and hooded-shape eyes, a lot more effort is needed to do the cat-eye design because of how your lids lay. The thicker, the better. For hooded and small eyes, it is advised to forgo eyeliner on the bottom lash line, as it tends to make the eyes look smaller. So opt for a smokey-eye look.
Round eyes are normally easier to work with, in terms of style and colours. Your personality matters as well. Opt for glit and glam - a look that will accentuate the shape of your eye.
