Reggae music ambassador and Grammy Award-winning reggae artiste, Kabaka Pyramid, continues his 2025 world tour with historic performances in Asia. On August 3, Kabaka delivered a powerful set at the ACC X Music Festival in Gwangju, South Korea, marking his début in the country. Shortly after, he brought his fiery lyrics and roots-reggae energy to Singapore for his first-ever live show there, further expanding reggae’s global reach.

These milestone appearances come as part of Kabaka Pyramid’s ongoing global tour, which will see him perform across more than 10 countries this year. “Its amazing to see the genuine love that people from so far with rich cultures of their own have for our music and culture. In Singapore people cried tears that I actually reached and performed, heights of appreciation. Korea was definitely an introduction to the music but with a warm welcome and of course we got them moving and vibing right through the show.”

Next, Kabaka joins the Far East Rulers Cruise, a themed reggae and dancehall cruise in Japan, hosted by the internationally renowned sound system Mighty Crown. Dubbed “Bring Back the Love” the cruise is sailing from September 11–16, Kabaka Pyramid will bring his message of truth and revolution to fans at sea.

From Asia, Kabaka will return to the United States for a special New York appearance. On September 27, he headlines the Capital One City Parks SummerStage at the Coney Island Amphitheatre, joined by fellow Jamaican star Lila Iké. The performance promises an unforgettable celebration of reggae and roots culture for East Coast fans.

Adding to the excitement, Kabaka recently released his latest single, Jamaica, produced by the artiste himself under his Bebble Rock label. The track is a heartfelt ode to his homeland and a continuation of his reputation for delivering socially conscious, lyrically potent music.

Beyond his work as a recording artist, Kabaka has been steadily building his career as a producer, crafting music for himself and others while pushing reggae’s sound forward. His dual role as performer and producer reflects his deep commitment to elevating reggae culture on a global scale.
