Burning Spear, Ziggy Marley Do the Reggae Tour ‘historic’
Ziggy Marley is labelling his upcoming tour with reggae legend, Burning Spear, as “historic”
“A historic reggae experience! @ziggymarley & @officialburningspear hit the road together. More revelations of @officialburningspear and I reasoning. I love listening to the masters talk,” Ziggy posted on Instagram one week ago.
He then shared a video clip of Burning Spear, talking about the music. “This is what we do. We are singers, artistes and players of instruments. We are music,” Burning Spear, whose real name is Winston Rodney said.
Burning Spear, who was a friend of Ziggy’s father, reggae icon Bob Marley, added, “The people expect to see us. As long as that availability is there, we need to show ourselves to the people ... for is they who make us ... they who make us into what we is, or what we are today, by supporting us that’s the way it goes. Is one people ... and this music is for the people and the people is for the music.
