I am

Where hope etches its address

that’s where I want to recharge

and rest,

Where joy lives,

dimness lifts,

Where peace sits,

I will bathe in it,

I will swim through the tide,

towards a beach called peace of mind

When the sun hides its shine,

I will light a bonfire

When the waves rises,

I will put my feet upon somewhere higher

When the time is right

the moon will call out to the night

When my soul needs me

I will hug myself with joy and glee

Everything from night to day

Nature shows us that seasons change

Who I am and what they say

will never make my value sway

This is my world to create,

It is my own mission

to deviate –

from any self

or external hate

My time to glisten in the uplifting words

and listen

To my heart beat,

The dainty birds sing;

The waves crash and splash upon sight;

To feed my eyes,

with the size of the stars tonight;

To fill my lungs with air,

And have a steady and slow release,

The ying and yang;

The sea and the land;

I now realise,

in everything tiny and grand

there is so much beauty –

an inner prize, embedded in who I am.

The vision

A magnificent glow, I feel a heavenly aura.

The wind blows gently between the trees.

Leaves fly like winged birds.

I see a beautiful garden with beautiful flowers.

Trees are everywhere, many fruits to enrich the place.

Butterflies twinkle like stars in the heavens and busy bees make honey.

The river glides persistently through the rocks.

Little gold fishes jump around in a pond aiming for the ocean.

I see the many colours of the rainbow.

And a treasure chest at the end of it.

The vision, a thought is only the beginning,

Speak it into being, visualisation into realisation.

A vision to make great things happen.

Remember, there is greatness within you waiting to be released.

A vivid vision, searching for peace and happiness.

Searching for success and complete fulfilment.

“I have a dream, I have a vision,”

These words spoken by the late great Martin Luther King will be forever etched in my mind.

I have a dream; I have a vision.

We were all created with a dream and a vision.

Release the vision, embrace the vision, enlarge the vision.

In Proverbs 29:18 it is stated that where there is no vision,

The people perish, but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.

It has been revealed throughout history that a dream simply stays a dream,

Unless, it is written down as a goal and an action step is attached to it.

Habakkuk 2:2 says write the vision, make it plain.

Take the time to dream and envision what you want your life to look like

And work towards achieving it.

Dream it with all your mind, believe it with all your heart.

And achieve it with all your might.

Thought, word, action.

Embrace the process.

Don’t wait, don’t procrastinate, do it now.

There is power in the now.

And a beautiful gift in the present.

Awake my people, wake up and stay awake.

Put your skin in it and make a difference today.

You have greatness within you, embrace it in every way.

Be encouraged, be inspired and be empowered as you release your greatness today.

Embrace the vision.
