The Miracle of Life
Deposited so stealthily,
Just a small egg.
Miraculously attached,
And swimming down a well.
What a collision,
A fusion of life!
God breathed, purposeful,
Destined to rise.
Fragile, yet beautiful,
Deliberately designed.
By the Creator, God,
Who is always on time.
No mistakes here,
Accurately made.
To breathe and to function,
To serve Him all our days.
Getting stronger, bigger in size,
Eating, heart still beating,
Definitely alive.
Determined to make it,
Successfully pushed out.
Striving and thriving,
This is what life is about.
Small baby steps,
Babbling at first,
Saying first words,
Had to be nursed.
Reading, writing,
Connections being made,
Shaping, moulding,
Playdough like clay.
That's how we were crafted,
By gentle hands,
Hands of our Maker.
Who understands.
Placed in a garden,
Given some tasks,
Given dominion,
Over animal and plants.
To talk to God,
In the cool of the day.
Adam and Eve had these meetings,
So fascinating by the way!
To talk to their Maker,
Just like a friend.
With the One who had,
No beginning or end.
It must have been amazing,
The questions they might have asked,
"Who made you, Father?''
''Please tell us your start.''
''I am Alpha and Omega.''
''The First and the Last.''
You were purposefully placed here,
In a garden so vast.
To eat all the fruits ,
I've given to thee.
Except the one in the middle,
You must obey me.
For if you eat it,
You will surely die.
Learn to obey me,
And you will survive.
But this did not happen,
For Satan beguiled.
They ate the forbidden fruit,
Now they had to hide.
They covered themselves,
But they were still naked and bare,
Fig leaves could not remove,
The guilt and the fear.
''Adam! Adam!''
God called his name.
But he was still hiding,
Naked and afraid.
That's what sin does,
When we disobey.
It drives a wedge,
Between Potter and clay.
But God made new garments,
For them with sheep skin.
Blood had to be shed,
To cover man's sin.
He sent His Son to die,
Our sins to erase,
That's why Jesus came to earth,
To die in our place.
Accept Him today,
He is ready to forgive,
Jesus is the Bread of Life.
Accept Him and you will live.

Inner Being
The monster under my bed lives in my head.
I close my eyes and I see its smile
Taunting me as fear grips my mind.
The monster in my head tells me that I am scared.
