The Inter-Secondary Schools Sports Association (ISSA) has released a revised schedule for its sporting competitions following Tuesday's postponement of all islandwide events because of inclement weather.

Under the revised arrangements, all Youth and Manning Cup football matches scheduled for Wednesday, November 4, will proceed as planned.

However, the six Manning Cup and eight daCosta Cup Round of 16 matches postponed on Tuesday have been rescheduled for Thursday, November 5.

Manning Cup teams originally scheduled to play on Wednesday will now contest their final round of matches on Friday, November 6, while teams scheduled to play on Thursday will complete their final round on Saturday, November 7.

ISSA said all Youth matches will proceed as scheduled, except those involving teams still competing in the Manning Cup and daCosta Cup.

The association cautioned that the revised arrangements remain subject to weather conditions. It said a further update would be issued by 10:30 am on Wednesday, if necessary.

ISSA postponed Tuesday's fixtures, which included six Manning Cup and eight daCosta Cup matches, in anticipation of continued rainfall across the island.

Among the scheduled Manning Cup encounters was a clash between defending champions Excelsior High and St Catherine High, while Manchester High were set to face defending daCosta Cup champions St Elizabeth Technical High (STETHS).

The Meteorological Service of Jamaica has forecast unstable weather conditions, including showers and thunderstorms, across the island through Saturday as a broad trough affects Jamaica and the western Caribbean.
