Jamaica’s Under-15 Reggae Boyz continued their historic run at the FIFA U15 World Cup and Festival in Baku, Azerbaijan, on Monday, coming from behind to beat Togo 3-2 and set up a decisive Group AB clash against the Czech Republic later in the day.

The young Reggae Boyz fell behind in the seventh minute when Kokou Amela scored for Togo, but Timothy Jones equalised for Jamaica in the 29th minute before Ramesh Simms put the Caribbean side ahead three minutes later.

Togo responded almost immediately, with Farou Akpo finding the net in the 33rd minute to make it 2-2.

However, Samari Cousins secured all three points for Jamaica with a goal on the stroke of full time in the 40th minute. It was his fourth goal of the competition.

Jamaica are now level on 12 points with the Czech Republic at the top of Group AB, but the Czechs hold the advantage on goal difference.

The Czech Republic thrashed the US Virgin Islands 14-1 in the earlier match on Monday, setting the stage for a showdown with Jamaica to determine the group winners.

The FIFA U15 World Cup and Festival features 189 teams from six confederations.

The teams are divided into 32 groups of six, with group winners advancing to the Tier A Round of 16 playoffs. Second-placed teams advance to Tier B, while third-placed teams move on to Tier C.
