Jamaica Police Credit Union’s Smart Savers Expo helps teens ‘Discover Their Future’

The Jamaica Police Co-operative Credit Union Ltd (JPCCU) invited its Smart Savers, ages 14 to 17, to the second staging of its Smart Savers Expo on Friday, July 17, 2026, under the theme “Discovering Your Future: Exploring Career Paths and Achieving Your Goals”. An exclusive benefit of the Credit Union’s Smart Savers Programme, the expo exposed participants to career exploration, leadership development, and practical life skills while reinforcing the importance of planning early for a successful future.

Throughout the day, participants took part in interactive activities, including a budgeting challenge that encouraged them to make informed financial decisions and understand the value of responsible money management. Guest speaker ASP Romario Reid inspired the young attendees with his motivational presentation, “Knowing Who You Want to Be and How to Achieve It,” encouraging them to set meaningful goals, embrace perseverance, and remain focused on achieving their dreams. Through initiatives such as the Smart Savers Expo, JPCCU continues to invest in developing financially responsible, confident, and empowered young people who are prepared for the opportunities and challenges of tomorrow.
