Maternal love reigned in the hills above the city on Sunday afternoon in Newcastle, St Andrew. EITS Cafe welcomed scores of guests for its much-anticipated reopening with the Mother’s Day Brunch ’N Beats. With a menu stacked with house favourites like barrel-roasted chicken, ackee samosas, and coconut curry seafood stew, moms and their children relished stunning mountain views and a soundscape curated by violinist Ziah Push, deejays Richie Supreme and Kareem Remus Burrell, Xterminator Sound, and drummers from the School of Vision. Something Extra takes you to the weekend’s buzzed-about social do.
