The atmosphere was electric as friends, family, and colleagues of the late Stephen ‘Cat’ Coore paid homage to the celebrated musician. The tribute concert last Friday at Ranny Williams Entertainment Centre saw reggae stars show up to perform in his honour.
Gramps Morgan, Tarrus Riley, Maxi Priest, Dean Fraser, and The Skatalites showcased their interpretation of love for the Third World guitarist.
The evening ended with a full jam session led by AJ Brown and the new Third World, as Shiah Coore, Damian ‘Junior Gong’ Marley, and his brother Stephen Marley brought the house down performing some iconic songs made famous by the band.
