Nobody knows better than Junior Reid that wherever you hail from, at the end of the day it’s all about ‘One Blood’, so he had to be present at the thanksgiving service for his ‘brother’ Tabby Diamond.
Veteran deejay Wickerman was hanging out with Tabby Diamond and having a joyful time just moments before his violent death on March 29. Despite still reeling from the painful reality, Wicker got up, dressed up and represented well at last Friday’s thanksgiving service at the Ranny Williams Entertainment Centre.
It was off a plane and into the Ranny Williams Entertainment Centre for singer Nadine Sutherland, whose mother and father were also marked present at the farewell for Tabby Diamond.
Whitfield ‘Whitty’ Henry, record producer and creator of the popular weekly event, Uptown Mondays, was well coordinated in black and white.
Making a fashion statement was Adrian Burton, who hailed Tabby Diamond as his mentor.
Well suited and booted for the occasion was Cabel ‘Jeffrey’ Stephenson, former manager of Toots and the Maytals.
Queen of Reggae Marcia Griffiths (left) and International Reggae Day founder, Andrea Davis, were among the music industry players who showed up to support the family of Tabby Diamond.

Members of the music industry dressed up and showed up to support the family of Donald ‘Tabby Diamond’ Shaw, lead singer of the internationally famed reggae group Mighty Diamonds, at last Friday’s thanksgiving service held at the Ranny Williams Entertainment Centre. Something Extra was there and captured some of the fashion highs.
