United States President Donald Trump announced in a tweet this morning that the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) will begin the process of removing “millions” of illegal aliens, starting next week.

“They will be removed as fast as they come in,” Trump said.

An administration official told The Associated Press that the effort would focus on the more than one million people who have been issued final deportation orders by federal judges but remain at large in the country.

The largest number of people deported by ICE was 409,824 in 2014.

Trump also praised Mexico in his tweet for strong immigration laws that prevent citizens from gaining access to the United States.

He also highlighted that Guatemala was close to signing a safe-third party agreement which could legally prevent migrants from eventually applying for asylum in the U.S.

If ICE is outside your door, remember:

*You have rights

*ICE does not have the right to enter without a signed warrant

*Do not open the door

*Remain calm and polite

*Request to see a warrant signed by a judge as well as an ID

*Ask that the documents be slipped under the door or held up to the peek hole

*Look carefully at documents to ensure authenticity and take pictures of them

*Ask for card or contact information if they refuse to supply documents

*Do not show the agents any documents or say anything

*Tell the agents that you do not want to speak to them without a lawyer and ask them to leave
