Good food, meaningful conversations and a shared spirit of giving set the tone at Hummingbird Charities Limited’s annual Fête For A Cause fundraising brunch, held last Sunday in Millsborough.
Guests, dressed in casual brunch wear, gathered in support of the charity’s three flagship programmes — Hummingbird Feeds, Sole2Sole and the Bossman Initiative, a mobile health clinic delivering free health screenings to men across Jamaica.
The afternoon was marked by more than conviviality. Hummingbird Charities also signed a memorandum of understanding with the Jamaica Cancer Society, paving the way for the Bossman Initiative to expand its mobile services to include free medical check-ups and cancer screenings, as it works towards screening 1,000 men in 2026.
